Audits

When you become a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), you will be registered by the system and placed on the National Register. Your organisation will be regularly audited for service quality, currently every 3 – 5 years by the Department of Education, Training and the Arts (DETA). The system enables providers to operate anywhere in Australia, and to issue nationally-recognised qualifications. Registered training organisations include private training and assessment organisations, TAFE institutes , universities, schools and adult education providers.

ETMS assists RTO’s by conducting internal audits and any subsequent updating of systems to ensure successful maintenance of registration.

Training Packages

Training Packages provide the framework for most Vocational Training in Australia. Training Packages specify the competencies that must result from the provision of learning services, industry requirements for assessment, and the qualifications that result from competence. In industry areas where there are not yet Training Packages, accredited courses are used instead.
